Gladstone Regional Council operating hours will change during the Christmas and New Year period.

Urgent phone enquiries will be taken 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on (07) 4970 0700.

The Gallery & Museum will close 4.30pm, Friday, 23 December 2022 and reopen at 10am, Tuesday, 3 January 2023.

Popular local artist takes out top prize at Martin Hanson Memorial Art Awards

A local arts educator with more than 40 years' experience in Gladstone has taken out the top prize at The 47th Rio Tinto & QAL Martin Hanson Memorial Art Awards held at Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum (GRAGM) on Saturday 22 October.

Geoffrey Head was named as overall winner of The Awards for his piece Wetland, taking out the top prize of $15,000.

Innovative and exciting arts projects to receive RADF support

A local history app, podcast series and inaugural arts, crafts and music festival are some of the local arts and cultural projects to receive Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) assistance during Round One of the 2021-22 funding.

Gladstone Region residents and the wider community are invited to join Gladstone Region Councillors and guest speakers for the red-carpet premiere event of the 2021 Our Priceless Past Short Film Series.
