Gladstone Region Take pART Act III in conjunction with the 2021 Gladstone Multicultural Festival

Local visual and performing artists are invited to submit a proposal to develop a partnership during the exciting community arts and culture project, Gladstone Region Take pART Act III.

The Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum is calling for submissions as part of the creative pop-up project that will see artists collaborate with community groups, in conjunction with the popular Gladstone Multicultural Festival.

Supported by Gladstone Regional Council’s Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF), Take pART Act III provides the opportunity for local artists to work innovatively, developing new skills and connections for the region.

Project artists must register their interest to the Gallery & Museum before 5pm, Friday, July 23, submit their completed proposals by 5pm, July 30 to be informed of their successful submission by 12pm Friday, August 6.  Then, be ready to present their project Saturday, 28 August during the much-anticipated Festival.

Take pART Act III ideas may include hands-on artist activities, artist installations, stall or stage set design. The proposal must include details of the collaborating artists' roles, including professional CV or resume.

This pop-up public art project provides an opportunity for artists and community to come together and celebrate the character of the region.
