Gladstone Region Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) AGM

The Gladstone Region Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is holding their Annual General Meeting at the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum from 5.30pm Wednesday 20 July 2011.

The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is a project developed by Arts Queensland and administered by Council providing funding for development of cultural activities through locally determined policy and assessment procedures.

Each year Council lodges an official bid for funding from Arts Queensland and this money, together with an allocation from Council, is used to fund projects throughout the community.

There are two funding rounds each year, March & September, with the next round closing 4pm Friday, 30 September 2011.

Groups and individuals make an application to be funded for specific activities each round and it is the role of the Committee to decide, in accordance with the RADF Procedure Manual, if the application meets the criteria and is eligible for funding.

Nominations for the committee are being sought from interested community members. Nomination forms are available from the Gallery/Museum, libraries and offices of the Gladstone Regional Council or can be downloaded here.

For further information or to RSVP for the meeting, please contact Di Paddick, RADF Liaison Officer on 4976 6766 or email gragm@gladstonerc.qld.gov.au
