ART CAMP BURSARY

The Gladstone Arts Council and the Gladstone Bunbury Players are calling for applications from senior secondary students of the Gladstone Region for an Art Camp Bursary to participate in the Flying Arts' 2009 Art Camp, formerly known as the Experience the Arts (ETA) program.

The Art Camp Bursary will provide the opportunity for a local art student to participate in an intensive and fun week during the Winter school holidays, enabling a chance to build portfolios and experiment with different visual arts media.

Held at the Anglican Church Grammar School (Churchie), Brisbane from June 29 to July 4, the Art Camp registration fee of $590 per student will be covered for the successful Bursary applicant, they will need to be able to fund and arrange travel to and from the Brisbane themselves.

Bursary applications close 5pm Monday May 18 and are available to download here or phone the Gallery/Museum on 4976 6766 and one can be posted to you.
