GALLERY/MUSEUM CLOSED FOR ART AWARDS INSTALLATION
The Gladstone Regional Art Gallery and Museum will be closed to the public from Monday to Friday, 29 October - 3 November, for installation of the 2007 Rio Tinto Aluminium Martin Hanson Memorial Art Awards.
This annual event is the highlight of Gladstone's cultural calendar and all are invited to attend the opening celebrations. Please RSVP by calling the Gallery/Museum on 4976 6766 or email gragm@gragm.qld.gov.au
Important Dates- Submission of entries: 24-27 October
- Pre-selection: 28 October
- Gallery/Museum closed for Installation of Art Awards: 29 October-3 November
- Official opening and announcement of Art Awards: 3 November, 7pm
- Collection of Art Awards: After 13 December, 5pm
