Arts NAIDOC - call for submissions
The Gallery/Museum is welcoming works from Murri artists from now until Thursday June 10, for the 2010 Arts NAIDOC exhibition celebrating NAIDOC week and reflecting the 2010 national theme: Unsung Heroes, Closing the Gap by Leading Their Way.
NAIDOC Week is celebrated nationally from Sunday July 4 through to Sunday July 11, aiming to promote a greater understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and culture, within the community.
The Arts NAIDOC exhibition at the Gallery/Museum is an opportunity to showcase the extraordinary talents of the local Murri community.
