In 2014, the GAC supported the multi-arts extravaganza Animating Spaces Gladstone Frolic, acted as auspice for seven successful local artist funding submissions as well as hosted the annual Green Scenes: Environmental Short Film Festival and partnered a bursary opportunity.
GAC is affiliated with Artslink Queensland (formerly Queensland Arts Council), which is one of the largest regional arts networks and not-for-profit community based arts organisations in the state.
