Animating Spaces Community Forum
All are invited to the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum, 5.30pm Wednesday July 31 to discuss a unique opportunity regarding Artslink Queensland's Animating Spaces 2014.
Animating Spaces is a community multi-arts project that aims to revitalise and celebrate significant, non-traditional or unusual spaces within 15 regional communities across Queensland over three years.
The program will spark three innovative arts projects to reflect the interests and aspirations of the Gladstone Region, culminating in a weekend event that will ultimately form part of a regional road map of arts and cultural activities across Queensland.
Gladstone Arts Council President Wesley Walker said this was a chance to share our unique culture with the rest of the state.
"As an affiliated organisation with Artslink Queensland, the Gladstone Arts Council applauds the Gladstone Regional Council for its support of the Animating Spaces opportunity," he said.
"When it comes to creative enterprise in the region, we've certainly got a lot an enormous wealth to share."
