Expressions of Interest for Queensland’s First Highway Ephemeral Arts Exhibition Opens

Wrapt in Mugul, Queensland’s first highway and rainforest exhibition is calling for expressions of interest from central Queensland artists.

The Wrapt in Mugul project will place five large scale artworks along a 30km stretch of the Bruce Highway between the small townships of Bororen and Miriam Vale.

Innovative arts projects receive RADF funding

A multimedia exhibition, an artist in residence and a community music video are some of the local arts projects to receive Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) assistance from Round Two of the 2019-2020 funding.

Gladstone Region Councillor and RADF Chair Glenn Churchill said Council accepted the recommendations of its RADF Committee to allocate a total of $75,655 to nine different recipients.

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FOR REGIONAL ARTS DEVELOPMENT FUND COMMITTEE

Gladstone Regional Council’s Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is seeking nominations from interested community members during its 2020 Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The AGM will be held at the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum (GRAGM), corner of Goondoon and Bramston Streets, Gladstone at 5pm on Wednesday 16 September.

Gladstone Region Councillor and RADF chair Glenn Churchill
