The Castaway Art competition, workshops and exhibitions are themed New Beginnings, showcasing recycling as an artform, aiming to educate the community and reduce waste going to landfill.

On Saturday 24 May 2008, Rosemary presented a Bubbles of Oxygen workshop with participants of all ages at the Gallery/Museum to decorate a display of oxygen bubbles created using tissue paper.

In conjunction with the Gladstone Regional Council's EcoFest 2008 celebrations, local artist Rosemary Anderson and the Gallery/Museum are calling for many hands to contribute to a collaborative artwork.

Rosemary's Bubbles of Oxygen workshop will suit all ages and seeks to decorate a display of oxygen bubbles that have been created using tissue paper and bamboo.
