Funding Opportunity

The Gladstone Region Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is calling on local groups or individuals to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for their upcoming arts and culture projects that begin after August 1.

Submit an EOI by 5pm Tuesday, May 31 to the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum and the RADF Liaison Officer or local RADF committee member will assist to mentor you through the application process.

There are four locally identified funding priorities for 2015-2016 RADF year: Arts and Culture Training and Development, Year of Light Projects, Building Program Partnership Projects and Stronger Youth Projects presented in conjunction the Gladstone Region Youth Council.

Cr Bush, RADF Chairperson, said the grants would enable Gladstone Region arts and culture workers to access tutelage from renowned, award winning and in some instances, international tutors.

"The ability to gain guidance from experts in one's field is priceless and it is encouraged for these new skills to then be shared within the community, enriching our region's art and culture," she said.

The RADF is a Queensland Government and Gladstone Regional Council partnership project to support local arts and culture.

For more information, contact the RADF Liaison Officer on (07) 4976 6766.  EOI and application forms are available at the Gallery & Museum, or online at http://gallerymuseum.gladstonerc.qld.gov.au

The Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum is open 10am - 5pm, Monday to Saturday.
