The Gallery/Museum will be hosting free art workshops guided by local artist Krystie Smoothy on Tuesday December 18 and Thursday December 20, 10am - 12:30pm.

The art workshops are being held in conjunction with the Gladstone City Council's Celebrate Australia art competition and will provide a creative environment for any young artists looking for that winning inspiration.

The workshops will focus on creating entries into the art competition which will be announced at Australia Day celebrations being held at the Toondoon Botanic Gardens. Finalists will also see their work included on postcards.

No bookings are necessary for the free workshops and all materials will be supplied. For more information about the art competition or the workshops contact the Gallery/Museum on 4976 6766.

Entry into the art competition is open to all primary school age students and entry forms are available from this website or can be collected from the Gallery/Museum.

Entries need to be submitted to the Gallery/Museum at the corner of Goondoon and Bramston Streets by Friday December 21.
