Animating Spaces Gladstone Frolic call for creatives

The community coordinators of 2014 Animating Spaces Gladstone Frolic are calling on interested persons or groups, to submit an Expression of Interest to present workshops or create works in the lead up to the exciting Spring 2014 event at the Gladstone Aquatic Centre precint.

An initiative of Artslink Queensland, Animating Spaces is a community based multi-arts project which aims to revitalise and celebrate significant, non-traditional or unusual spaces within 15 regional communities across Queensland over three years.

Following a successful submission, the Gladstone Region has joined the initiative securing $60,000 in funding to present the event of arts activities from 3pm to 9pm on Saturday September 27, at the Gladstone Aquatic Centre precinct.

Animating Spaces is supported by the Australia Council for the Arts, Arts Queensland, Regional Arts Australia and the Gladstone Region Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF).

The RADF is a Queensland Government and Gladstone Regional Council partnership program to support local arts and culture.
