A Look Through the Brand at Life of the Land QLD 1870 to Now

Paintings, drawings, photographs, mixed media, installations and poetry by local artist, Jan Ross-Manley.

Contemporary works inspired by life on the land, from early cattle stations to modern farming. 

 

This exhibition received financial assistance from the Gladstone Region Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF), a partnership between the Queensland Government and Gladstone Regional Council.

 

 

 

FINAL FLOOR WALK WITH JAN ROSS-MANLEY

10.30am - 11.30am, Saturday 27 February 2016

On it’s last day of display, take a walk with Jan Ross-Manley to explore the local artist’s diverse exhibition, Marks of Fire.  Discover Jan’s contemporary and vibrant paintings, assemblages, photographs, installations and mixed media works and listen as she relates historical context and her own insights to these phenomenal works.  As a special treat, Jan will close with a brief poetry reading of her own written work.
