Aisle 10: The Beautiful Side of Harm

-

Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum

Aisle 10, an installation by local artist Mark Paddick explores the deceitful side of beauty. Inspired by the household cleaning aisle of a local supermarket, the exhibition explores how harm, packaged in beautiful colour, is readily accepted by society as a cure in our fight against disease and the duality of this beauty, that uses colour to attract, only to reveal the hidden harm on closer inspection.

Presented by the artist in conjunction with the Gallery/Museum and supported by the Gladstone and Calliope Regional Arts Development Fund.
